LOVELACE, With Amanda Seyfried, Is Going To Be ‘Very Risqué’

I’ve shared with you this image the other week, it’s from LOVELACE, starring Amanda Seyfried as the late porn superstar Linda Boreman a.k.a Linda Lovelace, and Peter Sarsgaard, (Green Lantern), with that 70s porn mustache, as her abusive pornographer husband Chuck Traynor. The indie drama LOVELACE directed by Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman, one of the producers, Patrick Muldoon talked to EOnline a bit about the film and if you think Seyfried’s performance in Chloe was daring, wait til you see her in LOVELACE..

“It’s going to be very risqué,” “It’s a new thing for her, but it’s not about nudity. It’s profound, the performance that she’s giving…She’s doing such an amazing job. We’re about two weeks into filming, and the movie’s going to be incredible.”

“Thematically, it’s talking about how abusive the porn industry was to Linda Lovelace. Yes, there’s a lot of nudity, but it’s a message movie about respecting women.”

James Franco will play the playboy founder Hugh Hefner, Franco is only going to spend one day to shoot his scenes which are limited to him as Hefner, welcoming Linda and Chuck to the Playboy Masion for a screening of Deep Throat and Hefner had a talk with Linda about the future.
Adam Brody will play Linda’s Deep Throat co-star Harry Reems
Eric Roberts will play Nat Laurendi, the lie detector expert who did a polygraph test on Linda at the request of her publisher.
Demi Moore will play GLoria Steinem, the feminist activist who founded Ms. Magazine which published the article ‘The Real Linda Lovelace’ which chronicled Linda’s abusive and destructive relationship with Traynor who she blamed for creating the myth that she ‘loved to be sexually used and humiliated’
Also starring Juno Temple, Sharon Stone, Wes Bentley, Hank Azaria, Bobby Cannavale, Chris Noth, Robert Patrick, and Romeo Brown

Keep in mind once again, that there are 2 rival Lovelace biopics in the works, this one and the other one is INFERNO starring Malin Akerman as Lovelace.
