MACHETE KILLS Ridiculous But Slightly Awesome Plot Revealed. Shooting Might Start In April

Those of us fans of the violently fun Robert Rodriguez‘s grindhouse flick, MACHETE would remember at the end of the film’s credit, it suggested sequels, MACHETE KILLS and.. MACHETE KILLS AGAIN. Of course many of us thought that that was nothing but a hilarious joke, we were all crackin’ up over it, who the hell knew that Rodriguez was actually serious and then bam! Last summer, it was announced that the sequel, MACHETE KILLS was officially greenlit, an info which I thought was and still think is pretty freakin’ awesome!..

Deadline reported that troublemakers studios man, Rodriguez and collaborator/producer Alexander Rodnyansky have developed MACHETE KILLS, the second film of the planned trilogy. That’s right, a trilogy of Danny Trejo awesomeness
The script has been completed and they’re eyeing April for start of production.
The first film was vengeance-driven, about MACHETE uncovering the bastards who framed him.. all the while there was a pointless sexy faux nun played by that party whore Lindsay Lohan.

The sequel, MACHETE KILLS is about Trejo once again as Machete being recruited by the U.S. Government for “a mission which would be impossible for any mortal man” Wow! And we all know that nobody f*cks with MACHETE.
He will find himself battling through Mexico to hunt down a cartel leader and an eccentric billionaire arms dealer both planning to spread war across the planet with a weapon in space. And so Machete will have his own army to help him out.
If that’s not the most ridiculous plotline you’ve ever heard, then I don’t know what is but hell you and I watch MACHETE movies not because they make sense.
