MAN ON A LEDGE Star Sam Worthington Says He’s Nervous About Working With Ed Harris

January 14, 2012RamaNo Comments,

Special thanks to Summit Entertainment, last weekend I got to chat with Sam Worthington (Avatar, Clash Of The Titans) about his new thriller, MAN ON A LEDGE
I shared with you my chat with Worthington on his experience standing on a ledge.. in this film, the great Ed Harris, plays the villain. And so I asked Worthington what was it like working with the 4-time Oscar nominee..

“More nervous than going on the ledge, to be honest, I was nervous as anything.
When you meet him, you realize he’s a gentleman, he’s intense but because he takes his job seriously
He’s like one of the best there is.
Every time I looked at him, I kept thinking, it’s Pollock, it’s John Glenn, it’s this guy who created Truman, things like that, so I couldn’t shake that out of my head, I’m lookin’ at Beethoven, all these memorable performances and ya go ‘fuck I better pull it together, man! I better deliver to this guy, he held Al Catraz hostage, what’s he gonna do with me?!’ (laugh)
And then you do your scenes with him and you go ‘man, it’s an honor to actually be able to work opposite you and watch you work and it’s an honor to be in this film’”
