Marielle Jaffe And Anthony Anderson Join SCREAM 4

Hidden in a recent EW article, via Shocktilyoudrop, about Lauren Graham co-starring in SCREAM 4 is also info about 2 more joining the cast. Marielle Jaffe who played Aphrodite girl in Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief.. and Anthony Anderson who oddly enough was in Scary Movie 3 and Scary Movie 4, which were spoofs of Scream. It kinda stinks that not a lot of people give Anthony (Transformers, The Departed) enough credit for playing a bad guy in the series The Shield, I thought he gave a solid, intimidating performance. SCREAM 4 has Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere, Nico Tortorella, and Rory Culkin in addition to the three returning members, Neve Campbell, David Arquette, Courtney Cox
Roberts will play Campbell’s cousin Jill, who becomes the heroine of the movie
Panettiere would play her best friend, a nerdy film geek and Culkin would play Jill’s potential love interest.
Directed by Wes Craven, Written by Kevin Williamson with the intention of making this the start of a new trilogy.
Craven said in an interview that the story is set 10 years later, it’s an integration of those three characters and new kids and continue the story in a way that’s “totally organic”
