Bourne Matt Damon

This weekend is my brother’s birthday so I wanna apologize to you ahead of time that I might be posting the reviews later on. I’ve seen the new movies that are out in theaters right now, but I won’t have time to post my reviews yet at least until this weekend is over. So I thank you for your patience and understanding. But real quick now, as we know, director Paul Greengrass himself has confirmed his leaving THE BOURNE 4 but not holding any grudge against Universal. Via comingsoon.net, Matt Damon has always said that he’d only want to do another BOURNE movie if Greengrass was the director, but now that the situation has changed, when asked if the fourth installment might happen at all, he’s still feeling optimistic about it…

“Yeah, I’ve always said that. But I think it will happen down the road. We just don’t have a script right now.”
“I’ll just wait for him and when he wants to do one, we’ll do it.”

I admire his loyalty to Greengrass. So it still sounds like he’s saying it’s either ‘Greengrass or I’m out’.
Frankly, I don’t care if THE BOURNE 4 ever gets made or not, I don’t mind at all, because the chapter was closed well with The Bourne Ultimatum, it was like leaving on a high note, a blaze of glory, with a bang! I just don’t see how they can top it.
If what’s been going on in the past week means the end of The BOURNE franchise, then it doesn’t mean the end of the world.
Funny how Damon said there’s no script right now,.. it practically just implies that either nobody liked Nolfi’s story or the rewrite by Zetumer is not done yet.
Let’s just watch the upcoming GREEN ZONE and just call that THE BOURNE prequel.
