Matthew McConaughey is who I’m vouching for to win Best Lead Actor at the Oscars this year and he is currently the frontrunner so things are lookin’ up for Matthew. The Wrap said the Oscar nominee, which will be part of Christopher Nolan’s INTERSTELLAR this year, has signed on to co-star with Ken Watanabe in Gus Van Sant’s SEA OF TREES scripted by Chris Sparling (Buried) In SEA OF TREES, McConaughey will play a man on a journey to the Suicide Forest at the foothills of Mount Fuji to take his own life when he is interrupted by a Japanese man who has second thoughts about his own suicide. Both characters begin a journey of reflection and survival. Sounds like this could be yet another Oscar worthy project for both McConaughey and Watanabe.Related Posts
