Max Borenstein To Write Legendary’s GODZILLA

This past summer, Legendary Pictures hired David Goyer (The Dark Knight, MAN OF STEEL) to work on the GODZILLA script previously drafted by David Callaham
Director Gareth Edwards who brought you last year’s supposed indie sensation Monsters (which bored me to death) is still attached to handle this project.
Seems like the script may not have been good enough to their standard because Heat Vision said they’ve also hired Max Borenstein (THE SEVENTH SON) to do a rewrite…

This is not a remake of Roland Emmerich‘s 1998 movie or any other Godzilla movie in the past, they’re developing the new movie based on the legendary Toho Studios monster Godzilla, having acquired the rights to the character Toho created which has become a classic for over fifty years ago since the 1954 film. Producer Brian Rogers previously revealed some cool things about this new take which will be live action with CG Godzilla. It will look more like a dinosaur than that big Iguana in 1998′s Roland Emmerich‘s movie. And just like the old films, this GODZILLA will get to fight other creatures and other giant monsters.
