McKellen, Dench, Anderson In ZOMBIE Flick: THE CURSE OF THE BUXON STRUMPET

Via screendaily and shocktilyoudrop, Sir Ian McKellen, Dame Judi Dench, Mark Williams.. and my high school crush (cause I was such a huge X-Files nerd) Dana Scully a.k.a Gillian Anderson have joined the cast of THE CURSE OF THE BUXOM STRUMPET,.. to be directed by Matthew Butler who co-wrote the script with Tori Hart.
It’s a zombie flick set in the 18th century, about the inhabitants of a small seaside town suddenly struck down with a deadly illness that turned them into creatures that would eat just about anything.
This full length feature is actually based on Butler’s short film E’gad Zombies which also starred McKellen, the image above is from that short film which now I’d have to see, being a zombie fan and all
The £2m film will be shot in Scotland later this year, I’m thinkin’ McKellen would probably be done with THE HOBBIT by then
