What do we know so far about the upcoming MAD MAX 4. That it’s called FURY ROAD, it’s going to cost about $100 Million to make, director George Miller has shown off some of the car prototype, Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron are said to be part of the new installment although Hardy recently said he wasn’t sure of which role he’d actually play, implying that the capacity of his involvement hasn’t been confirmed, so who is set to be the new Max?…

Moviehole reported that Mel Gibson‘s production company Icon Entertainment will be co-producing MAD MAX 4: FURY ROAD but this doesn’t indicate old Gibson will be returning as Max. After all, Icon has produced many movie in the past that weren’t starring vehicles for Gibson.
While Bruce Willis thinks he’s not too old to play McLane, Harrison Ford thinks he’s still not too old to play Indy Jones, Sly Stallone somehow thinks he’s still 30 enough to play Rambo and Rocky, Gibson on the other hand is man enough to admit that he’s too old to play Max, via The Herald Sun

“Not with me, I don’t think, man, I’m a bit old and long in the tooth for that number. You need somebody who can get around a bit quicker.”

I got a feeling, in the months and weeks and days that George Miller are going to be busy filming and promoting HAPPY FEET 2, the questions he’ll be most receiving from the media will not be around the return of Mumble the Penguin but around MAD MAX 4.
