I made this look good! Columbia/Sony Pictures has pulled out the big gun, their lucrative franchise Men In Black will indeed have a third installment and now, a release date. MEN IN BLACK III in 3D open Memorial weekend of 2012,.. May 25th, 2012 to be exact….

The announcement said that Will Smith will return as Agent Jay. They’re in advanced talks with Tommy Lee Jones to return as Agent Kay.
And here’s what’s interesting,.. for a while we’ve been hearing that Josh Brolin might be involved with the project but we didn’t know to play which role.. Brolin is actually in talks to star as a young Agent Kay.
Flashbacks perhaps?! Goes back in time perhaps?! No details on the plot yet.
Sony Pictures said the studio’s intention is to give “a fresh fun twist for fans of the franchise while also introducing the Men in Black to a whole new generation of moviegoers”
Barry Sonnenfeld will once again direct, from a screenplay written by Etan Cohen (Tropic Thunder), based on the comic book by Lowell Cunningham. with Walter F. Parkes and Laurie MacDonald are producing the project while Steven Spielberg is set to exec produce.

Previous info surrounding MEN IN BLACK 3, either Sacha Sacha Baron Cohen (Borat) or Jemaine Clement (Flight Of The Conchords) might play the character named Yaz
The first MEN IN BLACK in 1997 was made with a budget of $90 Million and it earned $250 Million domestically
MEN IN BLACK II in 2002 was made with a budget of $140 Million and earned a disappointing $190 Million domestically.
