Michael Madsen Is INFECTED

When I saw Michael Madsen in last season of the series 24, playing a computer tech guy helping out Bauer, I just couldn’t buy it. Madsen holding a shotgun, Madsen riding a harley, Madsen cutting somebody’s ear ala Reservoir Dogs, now that I could believe. Madsen hacking in the traffic system and computer database just doesn’t seem convincing. How should I describe Madsen,.. he’s the kind of actor you’d get if you can’t get Steve Buscemi or Harvey Keitel or Bobcat Goldthwait to join your project.
Variety said Madsen will star in indie zombie movie INFECTED for Verdi-Corrente Prods, to be directed by Glenn Ciano, Production is expected to start in October. The story is about “a father and son who have to fight to survive against a deadly, rapidly spreading blood virus”
You know me, I’m a big fan of zombie flicks, but sadly this sounds like straight to DVD material and it doesn’t get me psyched up. Sorry, Madsen.. I might watch this movie of yours but not it wouldn’t be because I was looking forward to watching it.
