These are some awesome movie info that I didn’t get to post the other day, mostly about comicbook/superheroes, check out the bulletpoints after this jump..

• The image above is from pinkisthenewblog which claimed that that is a shot of Rhys Ifans (who plays the villain the lizard) on the set of THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN. Personally, I doubt that that is Ifans but the shot on the left seems to show some kind of scaled make-up work around the eyes. Interesting huh?

• Lionsgate will release Jason Statham’s next action film, SAFE on October 28th, 2011

• Joseph Gordon-Levitt told Collider that he won’t reprise his role as Cobra Commander in G.I. JOE 2. Wise move, JGL!

• Tom Hiddleston who plays Loki in THOR and the upcoming THE AVENGERS told Vulture that it will be Loki versus seven Marvel superheroes in Joss Whedon-directed THE AVENGERS

• Marvel’s boss Kevin Feige suggested, via Theplaylist, that both BLACK WIDOW and HAWKEYE might have their own solo movies in the near future

• Via Superherohype, 2 stars of the upcoming THOR movie, Idris Elba a.k.a gatekeeper Heimdall, said he’d very much like to play LUKE CAGE and Jaimie Alexander a.k.a Sif, who’s a comic book geek said she’s interested in playing X-23, but that one is not currently in Marvel’s movie plans at this point.

• Whoa! Via filmfanreview and owf, What is going on here?! Has Samuel mothaf*in’ Jackson a.k.a Nick Fury gotten careless? Has production on THE AVENGERS stopped because pages of the script been stolen?! Whoa!
