Murray Will Return For GHOSTBUSTERS 3 Only If He Gets To Play A Ghost

Sigourney Weaver, last December, unleashed an interesting rumor that Bill Murray might return for GHOSTBUSTERS 3 but as a ghost. Murray in a recent interview, via Mailonsunday, said this…

“I’ll come back in Ghostbusters III only if I get to be a ghost. I said to them, ‘I’ll do it if you kill me off in the first reel.’ So now they are going to have me as a ghost in the film.”

Do you think that would be a good idea? Or you wanna see Peter Venkman the way you remember him? Or maybe just take him out of the story completely?

Ivan Reitman confirmed last month that he will be returning to direct GHOSTBUSTERS 3, Gene Stupnitsky, Lee Eisenberg. The old team will be back to mentor the new team which might include female members.
