After the poorly received The Socerer’s Apprentice, I thought it’d be a while until we hear director Jon Turtletaub (National Treasure movies) make another movie but he’s still in the business…
Comingsoon heard that Turtletaub is likely helm the long in development, LAST VEGAS, (that’s not a typo by the way) which was first announced back in 2009.
Originally meant for Peter Chelsom to direct, this Dan Fogelman-scripted story is about ..“four estranged male childhood friends from the fifties who reunite in Vegas to finally marry off Billy, the lifelong unmarried playboy of the group. Conflict arrives when both Billy the bachelor and Paddy, the widower of the group, begin vying for the affections of the same lounge singer”
I’m a big fan of Fogelman’s works (Bolt, Tangled, Crazy Stupid Love), so I’m giving this one a shot.
