Neve Campbell Says Wes Craven Will Return To Direct SCREAM 4

Blackbook had a chat with Neve Campbell who’s going to reprise her role as Sidney in SCREAM 4. They talked a lot about her career and life, you can read the rest OVER THERE, but she did say that Wes Craven may return to direct SCREAM 4. We saw the teaser art for the start of the new trilogy…

“pretty sure at this stage that Wes [Craven] is back on board to direct and Kevin [Willamson] is definitely writing” Scream 4. “It is going to be great.”

When asked if she’s excited about working with the couple David Arquette and Courtney Cox again…

“I haven’t spoken to them in a while. I’m sure it took a while to convince them to take part [in the picture], especially because they’re now a very happy family, and of course, it was a long journey for them. I think it’s going to be a lot of fun, and a lot like going back to summer camp.”

The horror series that reignited the genre and gross more than $500 million worldwide is back! From Kevin Williamson, creator of the original Scream trilogy, the new film sees the return of cast members Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox and David Arquette, along with a group of new stars, who can all hopefully stay alive long enough to figure out the new rules to this one-of-a-kind horror franchise!
