Nicolas Cage Captures BLACK BUTTERFLY

Actors like Nicolas Cage who’d sign on to gigs just for the paycheck cracks me up. Hollywood Reporter said German production company, Bavariapool has hired Nicolas Cage and German actress Veronica Ferres to star in the company’s first English-language film, BLACK BUTTERFLY.
This $13 Million psycho thriller is based on the French TV thriller PAPILLON NOIR starring Stephane Freiss and Soccer legend Eric Cantona
In the film, Cage will play…

the reclusive author Paul, who befriends a drifter, with fatal consequences.

That’s the film’s only plot right now.
Production on this Brian Goodman-directed project is expected to start early 2012 in Eastern Germany
