Noomi Rapace And Colin Farrell Will Star In DEAD MAN DOWN

Via comingsoon, the original Lisbeth Salander and star of the upcoming SHERLOCK HOLMES 2 and PROMETHEUS, Noomi Rapace and star of the upcoming TOTAL RECALL reboot, Colin Farrell have signed on to DEAD MAN DOWN which will be directed by Rapace’s previous boss, Niels Arden Oplev who brought you the Swedish adaptation of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.
Produced by Neal H. Moritz, scripted by J.H. Wyman, the story of this $30 Million action/thriller is about vengeance.

Farrell will play Victor, right hand man to an underground crime lord in New York City who is seduced and blackmailed by Beatrice (Rapace), a crime victim seeking retribution. Their intense chemistry leads them spiraling into payback delivered in violent catharsis.

Production will start in early 2012
