O, Sheesh! Here’s The Int’l Teaser For THE SMURFS 2

I still can’t believe I sat through the first film which was dreadful, I might add, I don’t know if I have an energy left to sit through the sequel, but it’s on its way, whether we like it or not.
Sony Pictures Animation has unleashed, via facebook, this first int’l teaser for THE SMURFS 2, watch it using the video player below.. or don’t, it’s up to you!..

Gargamel (Hank Azaria) creates a couple of mischievous Smurf-like creatures called the Naughties that he hopes will let him harness the all-powerful, magical Smurf-essence. But when he discovers that only a real Smurf can give him what he wants — and only a secret spell that Smurfette knows can turn the Naughties into real Smurfs — Gargamel kidnaps Smurfette and brings her to Paris, where he has been winning the adoration of millions as the world’s greatest sorcerer. It’s up to Papa, Clumsy, Grouchy, and Vanity to return to our world, reunite with their human friends Patrick and Grace Winslow, and rescue her! Will Smurfette, who has always felt different from the other Smurfs, find a new connection with the Naughties Vexy and Hackus – or will the Smurfs convince her that their love for her is True Blue?

SMURFS 2 which will have most of the actors from the first installment reprise their roles including Neil Patrick Harris, Alan Cumming, Katy Perry, Paul Reubens, Anton Yelchin and Hank Azaria. Even director Raja Gosnell will return to helm.
Christina Ricci will play Vexi who is an evil version of Smurfette, voiced by Perry.
David Stem, David Weiss, Jay Sherick and David Ronn have worked on the story
THE SMURFS 2 opens July 31, 2013.
