OLDBOY Master Park Chan-Wook In Talks To Direct STOKER Starring Carey Mulligan And Jodie Foster

The twisted genius who brought you such disturbing movies as Oldboy, Sympathy For Mr. Vegeance, Lady Vengeance, the one and only Park Chan-Wook or Chan-Wook Park, however you might call him, might get to direct his English-language feature directorial debut starring Oscar caliber actresses..
According to 24 Frames, Park is in talks to direct STOKER, starring Carey Mulligan and Jodie Foster, Their involvement with the project was confirmed this past June. Written by Prison Break star Wentworth Miller. Carey Mulligan and the great Jodie Foster are attached to star. No word yet if Miller will make an appearance in the movie as well. The story is about “an eccentric teenager whose enigmatic and estranged uncle returns to the family after the death of the girl’s father” Mulligan would play the young woman, Foster’s role wasn’t revealed yet but the filmmakers are still looking for an actor to play the uncle
The Scott brothers (Ridley and Tony) are producing the project under their Scott Free banner
