The scariest movie of all time after The Exorcist, PARANORMAL ACTIVITY (check out my review) is also the box office phenomenon of 2009, made with a budget of under $15,000 and earned over $106.1 Million at the box office and now it will arrive in DVD & Blu-Ray in time for the New Year. So if you’re having trouble staying up late for the countdown, watch PARANORMAL ACTIVITY a couple of days before and it will do the job in keeping you from sleeping, guaranteed. Via comingsoon.net and BloodyDisgusting, The DVD and Two-Disc Blu-ray include the original theatrical version of the film, plus an Unrated Version with a shocking alternate ending not seen in theaters. The Blu-ray also includes a digital copy of the theatrical version…
The PARANORMAL ACTIVITY DVD is presented in widescreen enhanced for 16:9 televisions with Dolby Digital English 5.1 Surround and Spanish 5.1 Surround (theatrical version only) and English, French and Spanish subtitles. The two-disc Blu-ray is presented in 1080p high definition with English 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio and Spanish 5.1 Dolby Digital (theatrical version only) and English, English SDH, French and Spanish subtitles. Special features include Unrated version with alternate ending not seen in theaters and Digital copy of theatrical version (Blu-ray only)
Written and directed by Oren Peli, the film follows a young, middle-class couple who become increasingly disturbed by a presence that may or may not be demonic, but is certainly most active in the middle of the night. Especially while they sleep.
