Patricia Clarkson Travels To THE EAST

Variety reported that veteran actress Patricia Clarkson has joined Another Earth star Brit Marling, Ellen Page, and True Blood star Alexander Skarsgard in the thriller, THE EAST which Marling co-wrote with Zal Batmanglij who’s set to direct
It’s about a female agent who infiltrates an eco-terrorist group which is called THE EAST.
Marling plays a law enforcement agent going undercover and infiltrating the group while Page plays Izzy, a member of the terrorist group and she previously was romantically involved with Skarsgard’s character
Skarsgard plays the leader of the group, seeking revenge against unethical corporations
Clarkson will play Marling’s character’s boss
