Patrick Stewart In FURY ROAD?

AICN received an e-mail from Trekgirl, I don’t know how reliable this is but she met Prof. Xavier a.k.a Cpt. Picard a.k.a Patrick Stewart (X-Men, TV’s Star Trek: The Next Generation) and asked if he’d do any film in Australia, to which he replied that he’d be doing something soon enough with director George Miller, but not to voice star in HAPPY FEET 2…

I got to ask him whether he’d like to make a movie in Australia and he said he may be back here soon to film a movie with George Miller. I – embarrassingly – blurted “Happy Feet 2! great!” and he said “No, another one”. Only other one I can see that Miller is doing is the new Mad Max movie. Patrick is sexy, but surely he’s not playing mad max! hee hee – - assume he’s playing another role in it.

Previous info revealed that FURY ROAD, the fourth Mad Max installment is going to be a sequel because the story is set a short while after the story in 1985’s Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome, so Mad Max will still be relatively young. So far the cast includes Tom Hardy, Charlize Theron, Teresa Palmer, Nicholas Hoult, Zoe Kravitz, Adelaide Clemens
If Stewart does end up as part of this project, I doubt he’d be the villain. The budget is about $100 Million, Mel Gibson‘s Icon Entertainment is helping producing the project adn there’s a rumor that it might be a mix of live action, animation and in 3D. WB will distribute FURY ROAD
