I know it’s been weeks, even a few months now since the year 2011 started but I figured I’d ask one of the first actors that Rama’s SCREEN has ever interviewed, to find out what he considered 10 great movies of 2010. About 2 years ago, I got to chat with the talented Paul J. Alessi, very awesome dude, about the movie that he was starring in, Knuckle Draggers, which I very much enjoyed. By the way, before I forget, the photo above is by Michael D’Ambrosia, via pauljalessi.com, don’t forget to also check out Paul’s facebook page and twitter. His list, after this jump, take it away, Paul!..

These are my favorite films of 2010..

1. Inception - I just loved it… thought it was outside the box and visually amazing.
2. The Town – A great action/thriller film with a great story. My hat goes off to Ben Affleck for not only writing and directing but also giving a great performance.
3. The Fighter – I really enjoyed this film. I felt each actor really stood out and delivered terrific performances.
4. The Social Network – Overall a great film and the writing was very well done.
5. The King’s Speech – again great acting
6. Black Swan – Natalie Portman just rocked it and had a great supporting cast… Mila, Winona and Vincent awesome job.
7. 127 Hours – To be honest I didn’t think I was going to like this film for many reasons but James Franco sold me big time…. Well done Franco
8. Due Date – Laughed my ass off and all I can say is Robert Downey Jr.

Now 9 & 10 you might laugh at me on these but what can I say I enjoyed them both.

9. Salt
10. Iron Man 2

Although I didn’t see every movie this year this list is based on what I did see. There are still a few I am looking forward to watching like Get Low, Winter’s Bone and Kick Ass.

Oh yeah and I forgot one Edge of Darkness was one you should watch if you haven’t already…
