Always find some time for hotties. Anybody who’s seen Sex & Lucia and Spanglish would know that Paz Vega is not a woman you can easily overlook or ignore, even in a movie as lame as Frank Miller‘s The Spirit. Variety said that Vegas will join Inglourious Basterd‘s German sniper, actor Daniel Bruhl and Mia Maestro (Poseidon) in CASTRO’S DAUGHTER…
in a story about Cuban leader Fidel Castro’s exiled daughter, Alina Fernandez.
This is an indie drama to be directed by Bobby Moresco who won Oscar with co-writer of Crash, Paul Haggis.
Vega will play Fidel Castro’s exiled daughter Alina Fernandez, a product of an affair while Castro was married to his first wife. Alina found out who her father was at age 10 and in 1993 she disguised herself as a Spanish tourist and fled to Spain and then found liberty in the U.S. where she’s been living in exile ever since.
Exile is such a harsh word, I’d like to believe that living in the U.S. is a better option than Cuba will ever get to offer. I can only imagine how disturbing it is to find out that your dad is actually a dictator, I wouldn’t find it flattering. Alina is recognized as one of the most outspoken of Castro’s relatives.
O shucks.. sounds like a heavy drama that doesn’t require Vega to do any sex scene. O well.
Here are some more shots of Paz Vega for no particular reason.
