POLICE ACADEMY Reboot Gets Scribe

Earlier this year, this project got itself a director and now it got itself a scribe. Deadline said Jeremy Garelick (The Break-Up) has been hired by New Line to rewrite David Diamond and David Weissmans‘ draft for POLICE ACADEMY reboot which marks the feature directorial debut of Scott Zabielski of Comedy Central’s Tosh.O.
So.. those of us who grew up watching ALL of Police Academy movies including some of its dreadful sequels.. who do you think should play the new Cadet Mahoney?
