The great Ralph Fiennes, who is part of the new James Bond movie, SKYFALL, previously told told Sunday Mail that he’ll be playing a “government agent” in the film, and he also revealed that when he was younger he used to be a fan of Ian Flemming’s James Bond books
Movieweb did some digging and heard the following rumor. Remember, keep this one under rumor for now…
SPOILER ALERT! The rumor states that the story would have Fiennes’ character possibly eventually replacing Judi Dench as the new M, head of the MI6
“Ralph Fiennes play’s a government agent, which we never get a name on, because he is set to play the new M.
Skyfall centers around M (Judi Dench) where her past forces her to leave as head of MI6, and find a new M. The board of MI6 then turns to a government agent (Ralph Fiennes) to take over. M (Dame Judi) is now forced to train the new head of MI6.”
Sounds fishy but not too far fetched.
Before Dench became M in the 90s Bond movies starring Pierce Brosnan, M was played male actors, by Bernard Lee and Robert Brown, both of whom have passed away.
But take the info above with grain of salt for now..
