Proyas Produces FUTURE PERFECT, Helmed By Abbess

According to 24 Frames, veteran filmmaker Alex Proyas (The Crow, Dark City, I Robot, Knowing) will produce an Australia based project titled FUTURE PERFECT which is in similar vein as the recent father-daughter action/thriller Hanna
But Proyas won’t get to direct the project, that job belongs to Aussie Shane Abbess.
Scripted by Brian McGreevy and Lee Shipman, the story is about an older man and a young girl, they may or may not be that of a father-daughter relation but they’re both eugenically created assassins and they’re on the run.
Media compares Proyas-Abbess collaboration to District 9 which is a model of a high profile director (Jackson) producing a project helmed by a young director (Blomkamp). Both projects are also independent in a location far from Hollywood
