Rebecca Hall Will LAY THE FAVORITE Down For Stephen Frears

She was previously circling the project and now she’s officially signed on. The Wrap reported that Rebecca Hall (The Town) will star in the Stephen Frears-directed adaptation, LAY THE FAVORITE based on the gambling memoir by author Beth Raymer, about how Raymer got involved with some older guys who figured out “how to gain an edge on the Vegas sports book system”.
Housed at Focus Features and Random Films, the script is written by Frears’ High Fidelity scribe D.V. DeVincentis (Grosse Pointe Black)…
