Rinko Kikuchi Joins Guillermo Del Toro’s PACIFIC RIM

Oscar nominee Rinko Kikuchi (Babel, The Brothers Bloom) is the female lead in the monster disaster movie, PACIFIC RIM, directed by Guillermo Del Toro. Starring Charlie Hunnam and Charlie Day who plays a professor and also Idris Elba in a role was initially meant for Tom Cruise to play. Rinko Kikuchi plays Mako Mori, a young Japanese pilot of Jaegers, robotic creatures built to fight strange creatures attacking earth.
