Robert Rodriguez Says SIN CITY 2 Already Has The Budget

Back at Comic-Con 2011, filmmaker Robert Rodriguez revealed that he’s ready to make SIN CITY 2 and production might start later this year.
The current title is SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR, it’s an adaptation but it’s said to feature 2 all new stories set in the Sin City universe, one of which is called THE LONG BAD NIGHT.
When I heard that info, I was like ‘sure, whatever you say, Rodriguez!. This is probably just yet another unfulfilled promise’, but wegotthiscovered recently chatted with Rodriguez who said the project already found financing..

“Sin City 2 is going good, we’re just finishing the script for that, we already got the money. We have everything we need so we can just start shooting as soon as we get the pages. And it’s the same thing for Machete 2. We’ve already got the budget, just waiting for the script. As soon as we’re finished writing we get to start the shoot.”

Well, I guess it’s moving forward after all. I can’t say I’m not stoked about this..
