Rumor: Is A Certain Friendly Neighborhood Hero In THE AVENGERS??

Veteran actress Jenny Agutter (An American Werewolf In London, Logan’s Run) is part of Marvel’s upcoming THE AVENGERS, she’s not playing one of the superheroes, IMDb lists her as a female council member, but where was I? ah yes, Agutter told RadioTimes what could be a major SPOILER, check out the excerpt below..

“I’m sworn to secrecy! I wasn’t allowed a script until I got there, and when I did, I felt like a complete child being on big sets and a huge parking lot full of Winnebagos.”
She does let slip that two of these housed Spider-Man and Iron Man; we suspect Agutter won’t be able to avoid sci-fi conventions for much longer.

Really? C’mon?! Spidey’s not in THE AVENGERS…. is he?! Sony, which owns the rights to the film franchise, would be pissed, so there’s no way this could be true.
