Shia Thinks TRANSFORMERS 2 Lacked Heart But Thinks TRANSFORMERS 3 Will Be ‘The Best One Yet’

I don’t know about you but I appreciate actors who when their movies stink, they admit their movies stink and they don’t necessarily have to apologize but they can simply recognize how shitty their movies were. I remember reading somewhere about Jackie Chan who admitted to doing Rush Hour 3 only for the money, not because of the quality of the story. Via Hollywood Reporter, Shia Labeouf said Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen “got too big for its own good” but he also promised the upcoming TRANSFORMERS 3 to be the best one yet because he strongly believes the script by Ehren Kruger restores the heart and human element that were missing in the second installment…

“When I saw the second movie, I wasn’t impressed with what we did,”
“There were some really wild stunts in it, but the heart was gone.”

I don’t think the lack of heart was the problem in the Revenge Of The Fallen.. the problem was that after you watched the entire, you still wouldn’t know what the hell just happened, not to mention the dialogue was unbearable. Heart or no heart, it was not well structured and it was a very poorly written movie.
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen went on to win Razzie Awards for Worst Film of 2009 but it did bank $836 Million worldwide so Bay still got the last laugh, it didn’t matter if Shia was impressed or not.
