Shyamalan Will Spend ONE THOUSAND A.E. With Will Smith’s Son

O-o.. brace yourself! It’s another M. Night Shyamalan movie.. and this is not like Devil which was only based on his idea but developed by other writer and directors.. this, my friends, is his next directorial feature and after godawful The Happening and the ridiculously godawful The Last Airbender, thought you could use the heads up..

Heat Vision said this is NOT about that untitled project that had names like Bruce Willis, Bradley Cooper and Gwyneth Paltrow attached to it.. nope, not that one, that one got shelved… for the time being.
This, on the other hand, is not his creation and he’ll be working on it with Will Smith through his banner Overbrook.
The project is ultra clandestine sci-fi titled ONE THOUSAND A.E., .. writen by Gary Whitta who penned The Book Of Eli, which I thought was a surprisingly profound movie.
ONE THOUSAND A.E. plot details are still kept under wrap but it’s not a starring vehicle for Will.. the lead star would be Jaden Smith. Before this past summer, people expected Jaden to do absolutely terrible in The Karate Kid but then the movie hit theaters and he was terrific!
There is also an adult role in A.E. but it’s not for Will. The project hasn’t been housed at a studio yet but it might go to Sony seeing that Overbrook has a first look deal with them
