SIN CITY 2 After SPY KIDS 4?

Those of you hoping that Robert Rodriguez would direct DEADPOOL may have to let that anticipation slowly fade away because via The Playlist, during a recent facebook livechat, the producer of Predators and co-director of Machete said that if all goes well, he would direct SIN CITY 2 after he’s done with SPY KIDS 4: ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD in 3D which is currently production in Austin, Texas..

Here’s what Rodriguez said about SIN CITY 2..

“Frank Miller and I are working on it,”
“It’s slated to be the next one, but if the script is not ready, then we’ll have to move to the next one.”

Keep in mind that Rodriguez also got NERVERACKER in his agenda, “Set in 2085, the story centers on a character named Joe Tezca who is part of an elite unit dispatched to quell a crime wave in a theoretically perfect future society”
But talks of SIN CITY 2 have been going on for a while now,.. from ‘yes we wrote it’ to ‘IF the script is read’.. so I’m not keeping my hopes up.
But here’s SPOILER ALERT!.. Rodriguez revealed that even though Bruce Willis‘ character, Hartigan, died in the first movie, he still wants to him bring him back for the sequel and all because he thinks Bruce/Hartigan is so “bad-ass”.. I couldn’t agree more.
