Sony Wants HOUDINI Biopic. I AM LEGEND Director Might Helm
Variety reported that Sony wants HOUDINI biopic to get back on track and I Am Legend director Francis Lawrence is in talks to develop the project but the deals aren’t official yet. To be produced by Jimmy Miller (The Other Guys) through his Mosaic Media Group banner.
Back in the 90s, Paul Verhoeven was attached to to direct this biopic that, at the time, would focus on the late great magician’s mysterious life
Now, the plan is to revamp the whole thing with a new approach that focuses on Houdini’s showmanship.
