SORCERER’S APPRENTICE Scribes To Write NATIONAL TREASURE 3

Did you like National Treasure movies? The box office showed that the 2nd movie did better than the first one so that should say something right? Some might consider National Treasure movies more entertaining than those Dan Brown adaptations (The Da Vinci Code, Angels & Demons) combined. We’ve known for a while now that NATIONAL TREASURE 3 is going to happen, the plot is still kept secret although Nic Cage wanted it to go worldwide which I found odd because if that was the case, then wouldn’t they have to change the title to.. Inter-national Treasure?..
According to Comingsoon, screenwriting team Carlo Bernard and Doug Miro who also penned the upcoming PRINCE OF PERSIA and THE SORCERER’S APPRENTICE are collaborating again with blockbuster producer Jerry Bruckheimer and director Jon Turletaub, to write the script for NATIONAL TREASURE 3.
No casting yet, but we can safely assume at least Nic Cage, Justin Bartha and Diane Kruger would return unless we’re eventually told otherwise.
National Treasure (2004) earned $347.5 million worldwide
National Treasure: Book of Secrets (2007) earned $457.4 million worldwide.
