I ran the 2011 Disneyland half-marathon a couple of weekends ago, dressed up as Indiana Jones, so I figured the pic of me above is more or less appropriate for the following info..

This past Monday night, LA TIMES held a screening of RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK, a screening which I sadly missed out on account of some other business, but anyway, the screening was attended by director Steven Spielberg and Indy himself, Harrison Ford.
Aintitcoolnews was there and recorded these few tidbits from the Q&As

About E.T. Blu-ray:
Ya know how Lucas made changes to the upcoming STAR WARS: THE COMPLETE SAGA blu-ray, Spielberg said making changes (the removal of the guns and the penis breath) to E.T. for the 2002 special edition was a mistake and he implied that the ET Blu-Ray will be the original theatrical cut only

About INDIANA JONES blu-ray..
Spielberg said “soon” but no date has been set yet, it depends on Lucas too.

About INDIANA JONES 5
Many hated The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull and Indy’s alien adventures. No more aliens in the next installment..
Ford said he’d love to don the big hat again “But I ain’t gonna go to Mars!”

Spielberg said RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK is one of the two movies he made that he could watch all the way through. The other movie is The Last Crusade

Here’s something interesting, Ford was offered the role of Dr. Alan Grant in Spielberg’s JURASSIC PARK but Ford turned it down. The role went to Sam Neill
