SUPER Kevin Bacon

What is your all time favorite Kevin Bacon movie? To me.. hands down.. Tremors. I know at the time it looked like the movie would be the start of the downfall of Bacon’s career but it was so much fun to watch. Bacon and town folks footloosin’ their way to survive the threat of a sneaky underground monster, the thrill was such a guilty pleasure, it’s hard to hate it, much like the 2006 movie Slither directed by James Gunn. So the following is meant to be.

Screendaily reported that Bacon has signed on to co-star as the villain in SUPER, directed by Gunn, already starring Rainn Wilson, Ellen Page and Liv Tyler.
SUPER is about “an average guy (Wilson) who becomes his pseudo-superhero alter ego, CRIMSON BOLT, after watching his wife (Tyler) fall under the spell of a charming drug dealer. Lacking super powers, he compensates by swinging a trusty wrench.”
Bacon will play a character named Jacques, a smooth-talking drug dealer who steals Wilson’s character’s wife, causing Wilson to become a one-man crime-fighting force.
