Variety said Rainn Wilson, Ellen Page and Liv Tyler are all going to star in SUPER written by James Gunn who will also direct the project. If you’re not familiar with Gunn, he brought us the 2006 fun-to-watch horror comedy Slither, Gunn is also the brain responsible for those hilarious PG-PORN vibrant videos, check out Helpful Bus.

SUPER is about “an average guy (Wilson) who becomes his pseudo-superhero alter ego, CRIMSON BOLT, after watching his wife (Tyler) fall under the spell of a charming drug dealer. Lacking super powers, he compensates by swinging a trusty wrench.”
No word yet on which role Page is going to play. By the way, SUPER reunites Page and Wilson, they previously worked together in Juno.
