Taylor Lautner To Star In VISION QUEST Remake

Taylor Lautner is on a roll! He’s signed on for MAX STEEL and that Summit’s Cancun action movie described as Die Hard meets Taken and now Eonline says that he might be set to star in the remake of the 1985 drama VISION QUEST. I remember after the first Twilight movie came out, I heard some people didn’t like Lautner playing Jacob but now that he’s developed freakish abs, he seems to be getting roles left and right and girls seem to be screaming for him instead of Rob Pattinson…

The original VISION QUEST was a coming of age drama starring Matthew Modine as an 18 year old high school wrestler named Louden Swain who falls in love with Linda Fiorentino‘s character, Carla, but Swain begins to lose sight of his goals as a wrestler. Based on the novel of the same name by author Terry Davis, the movie was also famous for its soundtrack Crazy For You by Madonna.
Lautner does have the wrestler body now,.. not necessarily Mickey Rourke‘s type of wrestler body. What do you think Hollywood is prepping him to become?… the next Tom Cruise? the next Matt Damon?
