TERMINATOR SALVATION: Director’s Cut Blu-Ray & DVD Will Be Rated-R

Terminator Salvation was always meant to be rated R. Even director McG had a scene of hottie Moon Bloodgood going topless. She said it was beautifully shot and wasn’t mean to be gratuitous. McG once said the studio gave him the freedom to film the best picture possible, rating was no problem but turned out the movie was slapped with PG-13. Not every movie can get that rating and be as awesome as The Dark Knight and Live Free Or Die Hard. Exiting the theater after watching the movie, I kinda half wished the topless scene was included because that would’ve been the only decent part in that disappointing installment.

But worry not, my movie friends! For UGO has spoken and learned that MPAA has released their list of latest films to get an official rating, and included is TERMINATOR SALVATION – DIRECTOR’S CUT coming to Blu-Ray and DVD… rated R!
Take that muggersucker!… scratch that.. it’s rated R now.. take that mothaf*cka!

I’m imagining some of the violence will be taken up a notch. You’d see more of the killing actually portrayed instead of just suggested. Some of the lines in the movie might even be spiced up a little… “come with me if you want to f*ing live!”.. “What the f*ck happened here?”… “judgment day happened, sh*thead”.. “if we stay the course, we are dead! we are all mothaf*cking dead!
Oh, I’m having so much fun.

But seriously though, is the R-rating really going to make any difference? The story would still be lame, the characters would still be unimpressive, and the action sequences would still be ordinary. The problems with Terminator Salvation (check out my review) goes beyond just about not being able to show nudity or express freedom of speech.
