THE BLIND SIDE Is The Top Video-On-Demand Movie Of 2010

I’m a big fan of video-on-demand, one word: convenient. Variety reported that, NOT Avatar, but The Blind Side was the number 1 video-on-demand movie in 2010.
Avatar ended up number 10 that’s because the other 9 titles were were available as soon as they hit the home entertainment window, the day and date with retail DVD releases, a fact that audiences value.
Avatar‘s (the only 3D title on the list) problem was that it wasn’t released on VOD on the same day as its retail DVDs were released. Check out the list after this jump..
- THE BLIND SIDE
- COUPLES RETREAT
- THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON
- HOT TUB TIME MACHINE
- THE HURT LOCKER
- IT’S COMPLICATED
- SHUTTER ISLAND
- DATE NIGHT
- THE BOOK OF ELI
- AVATAR
