THE FALLOUT OF HITMAN Director Xavier Gens
October 27, 2009RamaNo CommentsHitman, The Fallout, Timothy Olyphant, Xavier Gens
Xavier Gens is the director that brought us the game based movie Hitman. So yeah, keep your applause and thank yous and save ‘em for someone else because Gens owes some of us an apology for such a weak adaptation and for agreeing to have Timothy Olyphant as Agent 47. If there ever was a terrible miscasting.
Screendaily has found learned what Gens will be cooking up next and it’s been described as Assault on Precinct 13 meets Lord of the Flies…
The project is called THE FALLOUT. Not much is currently known about the plot except that it’s an action post-apocalyptic thriller set in New York City. Why does it always have to be New York City?! Can’t there be a post apocalyptic story in Branson, Missouri or something?!
By the way, it may be set in the Big Apple but principal Photography will start in February 2010 in Eastern Europe.
Anyways, it’s written by Karl Mueller and Eron Sheean who will also co produce along with Ross Dinerstein (The Killing Room, Powder Blue, Unknown), Darryn Welch (Goal! The Dream Begins,The Bang Bang Club, Stag Night), and Tony Krantz (24, Mulholland Drive)
Those names I just mentioned adore Gens calling him ‘super talented’, a ‘perfect match’, the man with ‘visual edge’
Unfreakin’believable!
Producer Welch already gave this movie his own quote review.. “this film will undoubtedly stand out like a ravenous Pit bull in a school playground… brace yourselves cause this film has a serious bite to it!”
Pit bull and Bite huh,.. let me guess, there’ll be mutants in this post-apocalyptic story?
