Right now scribes Peter Morgan, Neal Purvis and Robert Wade are writing the script for the 23rd James Bond film. Paul Haggis is not involved this time around. Usually in this process, with no working title, we simply call it JAMES BOND 23. No director yet, no casting other than Daniel Craig. And after that bump on MGM road, it’s good to know that the man with license to kill could still have drink, shaken not stirred. I enjoyed Quantum Of Solace, contrary to popular opinion but I do admit it had its weaknesses. So I’m hoping the next movie would go back to a villain with weird personality and an agenda of world domination instead of control over water which was a bit lame. We may now know when filming will start because… Via CommanderBond.net, while signing autographs and smiling to the gazillion fans waiting at the stage door fro his broadway play with Hugh Jackman, A STEADY RAIN, Daniel Craig says that JAMES BOND 23 will start filming at the end of 2010.
This marks the third time Craig will play the role.
Both Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace have earned a combined total of over $1 Billion worldwide.
