Via indiewire, The 27th Film Independent Spirit Awards has unleashed their nominees, announced today by Anthony Mackie and Kate Beckinsale. This usually makes good indicator for what the Oscars will be considering.
Tough competition, I think the contenders for the top categories (Best Feature, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress) are all worthy but I’d have to go with THE ARTIST, I hope it gets the most win, that film just absolutely blew my mind, it was the most original thing I’ve seen this year.

  1. Is there a ‘Best Music’ from a film category? If so, I recommend the music from the musical saw
scene in ‘Another Earth’. You can hear it on the composer’s website
