The trailer for Disney’s THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG will be attached to Pixar’s UP on May 29th, 2009 but it already hit the web and you can watch it using the media player below.
This marks Disney’s return to hand-drawn animation since Home on the Range in 2004.
Just like how the teaser trailer for UP started out with glimpses of Pixar’s beloved movies of the past, This full trailer for THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG begins with showing some of your favorite Disney classic movies, it really takes you down memory lane. Rama’s SCREEN reader Shila Urban was right.. I should’ve gone to that screening last week.

Walt Disney Animation Studios presents the musical “The Princess and the Frog,” an animated comedy set in the great city of New Orleans. From the creators of “The Little Mermaid” and “Aladdin” comes a modern twist on a classic tale, featuring a beautiful girl named Tiana (Anika Noni Rose), a frog prince who desperately wants to be human again, and a fateful kiss that leads them both on a hilarious adventure through the mystical bayous of Louisiana.
“The Princess and the Frog” marks the return to hand-drawn animation from the revered team of John Musker and Ron Clements, with music by Oscar®-winning composer Randy Newman (“Monsters, Inc.,” “Cars,” “Toy Story”)

THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG opens limited November 25th, 2009 in New York and L.A. on November 25 and expands nationwide on December 11th.
