Here’s the full trailer for THE RUNAWAYS, via Yahoo, in addition to the previous teaser. The biopic of the Joan Jett’s all female Rock n’ Roll band in the 70s. It made its way to Sundance and Apparition is releasing it this month. Here Dakota Fanning as Cherrie Currie briefly narrates their road to fame. They might as well just title this movie ‘Joan And Cherrie’ because it seems like the movie is mostly going to focus on those two characters and the two actors playing them, Stewart and Fanning…

Written and directed by Floria Sigismondi, THE RUNAWAYS is based on Jett’s 1970s girl rock band named The Runaways, the members were guitarists Jett and Lita Ford, drummer late Sandy West, singer-keyboardist Cherie Currie and bassist Jackie Fox.The band lasted about four years together, falling apart over management and money issues. The film will revolve around Jett and Currie and follow them from the band’s meteoric rise as teenagers to their dissolution and disillusionment and the struggle with their abusive manager played by Michael Shannon.
