THE SHINING Sequel Book
September 28, 2011RamaNo CommentsStephen King, The Shining

Many of author Stephen King‘s works have been adapted into films that are now deemed classic, one of which of course is 1980s The Shining, starring Jack Nicholson, Shelley Duvall, and Danny Lloyd as the psychic kid, directed by Stanley Kubrick.
All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. Never has a movie made anyone so terrified of being lost in a maze. Here’s Johnny!! Redrum! Redrum! I could go on and on, that movie is absolutely memorable.
Via the author’s official website, King is said to be writing The Shining sequel and the book is called DR. SLEEP which is about adult Danny encountering a group of vampires called The Tribe.
Seriously, Mr. King?! Danny grows up and now faces vampires?! That’s the best plot you could come up with?! I’m sorry but I’m not too stoked about this but if you are, check out the video below of King’s presentation at the George Mason University where he read an excerpt from the new novel..
