Trailer For HEREAFTER, The Latest From Director Clint Eastwood

WB has released the trailer for HEREAFTER, via Apple, and the part that hit me is the Tsunami scene when the waves start rolling in. Obviously it’s CG but it’s reminiscent of an actual footage from a tourist’s camera that captured that particular moment, I remember they kept playing it on the news, suddenly seeing it again in this trailer is like being taken back to 2004 all over again. Ya see I’m Indonesian, so there will always be that connection. Director Clint Eastwood considers HEREAFTER as his own chick flick but one that men will enjoy as well..

“Hereafter” tells the story of three people who are haunted by mortality in different ways. Matt Damon stars as George, a blue–collar American who has a special connection to the afterlife. On the other side of the world, Marie (Cécile de France), a French journalist, has a near–death experience that shakes her reality. And when Marcus (Frankie/George McLaren), a London schoolboy, loses the person closest to him, he desperately needs answers. Each on a path in search of the truth, their lives will intersect, forever changed by what they believe might—or must—exist in the hereafter.
