Universal Pictures have shuffled a bunch of release dates around, and via comingsoon, some of its upcoming movies finally receive release dates, check out the bullet points after this jump..

  • THE ADJUSTMENT BUREAU, starring Matt Damon and Emily Blunt, directed by George Nolfi, got moved from July 30th all the way to September 17th, 2010 possibly to have the movie make its premiere at this year’s Toronto Film Festival.
  • While Zac Efron‘s new movie CHARLIE ST. CLOUD will be taking the July 30th slot, it was initially scheduled to to open in October.
  • The comedy YOUR HIGHNESS starring James Franco, Danny McBride and Natalie Portman, directed by David Gordon Green has been moved from this October all the way to next year’s Spring, April 8th, 2011 to be exact.
  • Ron Howard‘s untitled cheaters comedy starring Vince Vaughn and Kevin James will open on January 14th, 2011. Its competition on that Martin Luther King Jr.’s weekend is THE GREEN HORNET starring Seth Rogen and Tyler Perry‘s next movie.
  • THE NIGHT CHRONICLES: DEVIL, written and produced by M. Night Shyamalan, directed by John Erick and Drew Dowdle (Quarantine, The Poughkeepsie Tapes) will open on February 11th, 2011
  • The 3D thriller SANCTUM, based on a near death diving experience, produced by James Cameron, will hit theaters on March 4th, 2010.
  • Which means Screen Gems’ 3D thriller PRIEST starring Paul Bettany might have to move its release date again in order to get more 3D screens
  • Sundance doc CATFISH will be released September 17, 2010, possibly also to have it make its premiere at Toronto Film Festival
  • BALLERS is set to open on November 4th, 2011. No information yet on what this movie is all about.
